  • Auditions: Monday, Sept 16th, 5:30 - 8:30 pm

    • Auditions are a way for us to determine "best fit". Regardless of previous experience, everyone who is registered will be cast in the show. If your child is unable to attend auditions please email us a video audition.

      • What do I need to prepare for auditions?
You should prepare a short monologue (no more than 1 minute in length) and 16 bars (measures) of a Broadway song of your choice.

      • Please provide sheet music of your song for a pianist to accompany. Songs cannot be sung a Capella or with a karaoke track as we are assessing how well you can stay with the instrument and keep your pitch. If you make a mistake - that’s okay! You can always try again.

      • Each individual audition will be roughly 2-3 minutes in length. We will ask you to introduce yourself (name, age, and a fun fact about you) then sing your chosen song, and lastly, present your monologue.

      • If you have any questions regarding auditions, please feel free to email us.

        • Examples of kids monologues can be found here.

        • Examples of teen monologues can be found here.

        • Examples of vocal songs can be found here.

A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, which contains a precious, otherworldly cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by a precocious young girl named Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training who realizes that the trunk’s precious cargo is starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. When the ship is taken over by pirates – led by the fearsome Black Stache, a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own – the journey quickly becomes a thrilling adventure.
